Hundreds of thousands of demonstrators took to the streets to protest against Covid vaccinations, lockdowns and other government restrictions surrounding Covid-19.
Crowds marched from Parliament Square through to Shepherds Bush, looping back around and eventually storming and occupying the Westfield Shopping Centre. Hundreds made it inside following clashes with police at the entrances causing most of the shops inside to close, police moved in and the groups made their way back to Hyde Park where they held a small party. Due to Covid regulations this was an unlawful gathering and so police moved in once again to disperse the crowd.
Four arrests are thought to have been made for offences including assault on police, violent disorder and criminal damage.
