Protesters had gathered at the gates of the Israeli Embassy on Kensington High Street following a mass demonstration support of Palestine amid Israeli airstrikes.
The largely peaceful demonstration, which called on the UK government to take immediate action, marched from Marble Arch to the Israeli Embassy where there were several speeches and speakers including former Labor leader, Jeremy Corbyn.

In May 2021 Gaza endured a brutal 11 day offensive from the Israeli Military - the 4th major offensive launched in 14 years.
A barrage of airstrikes destroyed buildings across the city including a number of high-rise blocks. According to the Gaza health ministry 260 people were left dead including 39 women and 67 children and more 1,900 wounded.
