BRISTOL, UK, Aug. 3, 2023 - Violent clashes erupted as protests continued in the wake of the murder of three young girls in Southport on Monday Jul. 29. The demonstration, organised through social media, had been promoted with the taglines ‘Enough is Enough’ and ‘Stop the Boats’, and was part of a wave of protests sweeping the UK.
A counter protest was also held leading to fighting between the two groups. 14 people were arrested.

Despite a few arrests, the evening passed of peacefully with thousands of counter demonstrators taking to the streets across the country.
