Dutch MP Geert Wilders came to the UK to show his controversial Anti-Islam film in the House of Lords. In support of the MP, around 200 English Defence League (EDL) demonstrators held a march from the Tate Britain to Parliament where they were met with a counter demonstration by Unite Against Fascism (UAF) leading to angry scenes. Despite both demonstrations being largely peaceful, police made 50 arrests -mainly members of the UAF.
